Parents of juniors are invited to attend a free presentation on College Admissions. Martha Savery, an experienced representative in the field of college admissions and financial aid, will offer concrete strategies for the college search and application process, including current trends in college admission, stages in the admissions process, college entrance tests, and preparing for the college visit, interview and essay. During the presentation the Guidance Team will also touch upon concerns surrounding college selectivity and applying strategically. Time is allowed for questions and answers, and parents will receive a seminar booklet which serves as a year-round resource.
Please note, due to space constraints, the evening session is intended for parents only. The College Admissions Seminar will be repeated on Friday morning, February 17th, at 8:30 AM for the entire junior class. If you cannot make Thursday evening's presentation, you are also welcome to join us at that time.
This is a great opportunity for you to learn how to support your child, as he/she embarks on what has become an increasingly complex process. We hope that you will be able to join us for this very important evening!
